Sevastopol, founded in 1783 as a military base and a fortress on the Southern coast of Russia, is the crossroad of the Christian and Muslim world, as well as Europe and Asia. The history of Sevastopol is closely knitted with that of many European countries: Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Italy, Turkey, France and others. Sevastopol's rich history is represented by over two thousand monuments, which can be found throughout the city.
Sevastopol Port is located on the southwestern part of the Crimean peninsula on the Black Sea coast. Sevastopol is geographically advantageous as it is located in a unique non-frozen bay (closed from storms and winds), surrounded by 12 countries within a 600 km radius-just a short distance to Istanbul.
Port Sevastopol carries out the following services:
Loading unloading of cargoes;
transportations of cargoes both passengers sea and motor transport;
reception of cruise, passenger and cargo courts;
towage;
transporter - forwarding operations;
agency services - 24 HRS.
Additional services:
repair of the case and mechanisms of courts;
byncering of courts by fuel, water and provision;
removal of sewage, sludge waters;
communication(connection) on radiochannels of short intermediate waves;
carries out the international telephone, telegraphic and facsimile communication(connection);
customs port formalities - port clearance;
repatriation of crew members;
medical assistance.

Pilotage is compulsory for all vessels calling Sevastopol Ports. At Fishing Port pilotage is round-the-clock. At Commercial Port: by passage to Passenger Terminal, piers Nos. 20 and 21 pilotage is compulsory; by passage to pier ҉nkermanҠand pier No. 22آy day light.
